About Us
The Workstation Program was established in 1996/97 to insure faculty
access to current computing and communications resources, as well
as support and training opportunities to enable them to use technologies
effectively. It is intended to stimulate collaboration by eliminating
barriers to sharing information, such as incompatible software or
inadequate communications tools. The program is designed to replace
each faculty computer every three to four years so that no faculty
member will be constrained by obsolete technology.
Should you need to purchase department-funded
workstations, the Workstation Program Coordinator can assist you by providing
technical recommendations and price quotes. Our goals are to adhere
to supportable campus computing standards, take advantage of volume pricing,
and make ordering easier for you.
