Apple has announced recalls for three different batteries used in iBooks, PowerBooks and MacBooks. Apple is unable to provide a comprehensive list of affected systems purchased by Cal Poly. All batteries for laptops purchased between October 2003 and present will need to be visually inspected per Apple's instructions (linked below) to determine if they qualify for replacement. If qualification is confirmed, follow Apple's instructions to get a replacement battery.
